4 ounces of feta or halloumi cheese, cut into cubes
5 dried figs or dates, cut in half
1-2 tablespoons of honey
Fresh mint for garnish if desired
Long toothpicks or small skewers
Directions
Add the lemon juice to the water and set aside.
Cut the apples into 1 inch chunks, adding to the lemon water as you work to prevent the apple pieces from browning. Keep apples in lemon water until ready to assemble the skewers.
Assemble skewers by alternating apple chunks, feta and dried figs as desired.
Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh mint. Serve immediately.
